Sweet and Spicy Buffalo Wings
Looking for a crispy, flavorful appetizer to bring to your next gathering? Make these tasty, sweet and spicy buffalo wings! We’ll teach you how!
Start by preheating your oven to 450 °F, then separate the fresh chicken wings into sections while removing the wing tip. Place the chicken wings into a large bowl and add baking powder and bold seasonings of garlic powder, salt and pepper to spice up your chicken. Toss until your wings are fully coated in a savory dry rub.
Then, line a cookie sheet with foil and place a baking rack on top. Cover the baking rack with cooking spray before lining it with the chicken wings, spreading them evenly at least 1 inch apart. Bake the chicken wings for 50 minutes, turning them halfway through to ensure that they are evenly cooked.
To create the sweet sauce glaze, combine hot sauce and honey in a small sauce pan over medium heat. As the sauce comes to a boil, stir in butter to add a creamy texture to the sauce.
Once all ingredients are incorporated and melted down, drizzle the glaze over your tender chicken wings and toss until thoroughly coated. For a vibrant garnish, add fresh, chopped green onions on top. There you have it! Enjoy the taste of sweet, salty, spicy buffalo wings at your next party—they'll be a fan favorite!
