Crispy Rice Treats
Everyone loves a good crispy rice treat, and there are a lot of recipes out there to follow. We may be biased, but we think the ALDI Test Kitchen’s recipe is the tastiest, easiest and quickest way to make the best crispy rice treats out there!
First, gather the ingredients—there's only four. Cooking spray, a half cup of butter, two 10-ounce packs of mini marshmallows and 12 ounces of Millville Crisp Rice Cereal Once you have everything in one spot, it’s time to get cooking.
Start by heating up a large pot over medium heat. Add the butter to melt it, but be careful with the temperature! You want the butter to melt without browning or burning. Next, add the mini marshmallows to the pot. Stir continuously so nothing sticks. Once the butter and marshmallow are melted and combined, remove from heat and add the crisp rice cereal. Stir until everything is evenly combined.
Next, you’ll want to coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with your cooking spray. Add your warm mix to the pan and level it out. Let that cool for 15-20 minutes, and you’re ready to go! Cut into small or big squares and enjoy this sweet, comforting Crispy Rice Treats recipe!

Ingredients:
- Carlini Canola Cooking Spray
- ½ cup Countryside Creamery Butter
- 2 10-ounce packages Baker’s Corner Miniature Marshmallows
- 12 ounces Millville Crisp Rice Cereal
Directions:
- Coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a large pot, melt butter. Add marshmallows and stir occasionally until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in crisp rice until evenly combined. Transfer to baking pan. Spray hands with cooking spray and press mixture into pan.
- Cool for 15 minutes at room temperature and cut into 12 squares.
