Candied Appletini

Shake up this Candied Appletini at your next spooky themed event this fall. To make this fun cocktail, start by emptying a bag of sour worm candy into a large airtight container. Pour the vodka over the sour worms and allow them to soak for at least 24 hours.

In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 ounce of the sour worm-infused vodka, ice cubes, apple juice and lemon juice. Shake until well chilled.

Now, pour the shaken mixture into martini glasses.

Pour 2 ounces of sparkling water over the apple juice mixture to add a refreshing and bubbly taste to the cocktail. Lastly, add your desired amount of the leftover sour worms to the martini glasses.

This Candied Appletini recipe is great for Halloween parties and the best part, it can be stored for 6 months to be enjoyed.

Ingredients:

  • 2 6-ounce bags  Crazy Candy Co.  Sour Worms, divided
  • 1 750 ml bottle vodka
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 3/4 cup  Nature's Nectar  Apple Juice Cocktail
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 4 ounces  PurAqua  Sparkling White Grape Flavored Water, chilled and divided

Directions:

  1. Place 1 bag of sour worms in a large air tight container. Pour vodka over sour worms and let sit for at least 24 hours.
  2. Combine one ounce of sour worm vodka, ice cubes, apple juice and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously then pour into martini glasses.
  3. Pour two ounces sparkling water over apple juice mixture. Garnish with desired amount of sour worms. Serve immediately.

Tip:  You can store the leftover sour worm vodka in your refrigerator for up to six months.
