Chipotle BBQ Salmon Burger

Prep Time:  10  minutes   |    Cook Time:  10 minutes   |    Total Time:  20 minutes   |    Servings:  4

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices  Appleton Farms  Premium Sliced Bacon
  • 4  Freemont Fish Market  Chipotle Salmon Burgers*
  • ¼ cup  Burman's  Hickory BBQ Sauce
  • 4  Specially Selected  Brioche Buns
  • ¼ cup  Burman's  Mayonnaise
  • Simply Nature  Organic Spring Mix, for garnish
  • 1 avocado, pitted and sliced

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium high heat.
  2. In a small skillet, cook bacon until crispy, about 5 minutes on each side; reserve.
  3. Grill the burgers 6-8 minutes on each side, basting with barbecue sauce until sauce has become caramelized.
  4. Lightly toast the buns and set aside.
  5. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and avocado until smooth and creamy. Spread mixture on both sides of each bun.
  6. To assemble: Place burger on top of bun, top with bacon and spring mix as desired.
