Classic Spaghetti Carbonara

Step into the world of culinary delight with the all-time favorite, Classic Spaghetti Carbonara. This dish embodies the heart and soul of Italian cooking, merging simplicity with sophistication for a flavor-packed experience.

Begin by bringing a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Introduce the spaghetti, letting it dance in the bubbling water for 6-8 minutes until it reaches al dente perfection. Once done, drain and set aside.

While the spaghetti is coming together, turn your attention to a medium sauté pan. Here, bacon sizzles until it's perfectly crisp, filling the air with its unmistakable savory scent.

With the bacon crisped to perfection, add the cooked spaghetti and sweet peas to the sauté pan. Over medium heat, let them mingle for 2-3 minutes, ensuring they're well combined.

Next, remove the pan from the heat and drizzle the whisked egg over the spaghetti. Toss the mixture, allowing the residual heat to gently cook the egg, coating each strand in a creamy embrace.

Season your creation with salt and pepper to taste. And for that final flourish, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.

Classic Spaghetti Carbonara is more than a meal; it's a journey to an Italian kitchen where tradition meets passion. Whether you're sharing with loved ones or just cooking for yourself, it's a delicious home cooked meal.
